Just a few things that might be worth mentioning:
• Lisa’s cut my hair (Thank God), and it does actually look like a real haircut,
• I now also have a dressing table in my bedroom, as well as two very cute lamps,
• And we also now have a foosball table in the hall,
• When I go to work, I have to get up at three in the morning,
• Auguste is really quite nice, to make sure I have a social life, she often invites me in the evening if I’m not doing anything, and we stuff ourselves with chocolate and drink loads of hot chocolate,
• I was hugged in the street again, this time not by a prostitute, but by a man who must have been heading home after a party or something, and I was coming home from work,
• Feodor had his first communion, and as a treat we went to an amusement park,
• And after that, we went for something to eat, and the waiter forgot my order and brought something with meat to Auguste,
• One day, in the car, I was in charge of maintaining the baby awake before it fell asleep before we got home,
• I still don’t have a bike, because when I was at the market, work called (not the three in the morning one, another job) to ask me where I was. Don’t you just hate that, when you forget to go to work, and then they call you to ask you where you are?
• The boys have moved out, I don’t know whether I’ll ever set foot in that wonderful apartment again,
• We had a full beauty session with Fritzi and Philomena, complete with pedi an’ all.
• I am now one of the millions of people to have been disturbed by the volcanic cloud, my Zurich-Lyon flight has been cancelled, so I don’t know exactly when I’ll be back in France,
